Mandatory information on data processing in the context of e-mail communication

If you contact us by email, your personal data will be processed. In accordance with Art. 12, 13 GDPR, we are obliged to inform you transparently about this data processing at the time of the first contact as follows. 

We, Leela Lab UG (limited liability company), Moos 6, 86983 Lechbruck am See, Germany, are responsible for data processing. Represented by the managing director: Philipp Samor von Holtzendorff-Fehling. We are not obliged to appoint a data protection officer.

The processing is carried out to process your request. It only takes place if you have given your consent to data processing (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), if the processing is necessary for the initiation, establishment, content or amendment of a legal relationship between us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR), if there is a legitimate interest in the processing (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or if another legal provision permits the processing. 

Your data will be deleted as soon as the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies, you revoke any consent you may have given or you request us to delete it and there is no other overriding legal basis, such as retention periods under tax or commercial law, to the contrary. 

As a data subject, you have the right to information, rectification, transfer, restriction, blocking and erasure of your personal data.

As a data subject, you have the right to information, correction, transmission, restriction, blocking and deletion of the data processed by you. You also have the right to withdraw your consent and to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. 

No automated decision-making, including profiling, is used. Whether the provision of personal data is required by law or contract or is necessary for the conclusion of a contract depends on the individual case. It also depends on the individual case whether you as the data subject are obliged to provide the personal data and what the possible consequences of not providing it would be.
